About ‘The eye of the crocodile’ by Jan Klijn

Zoos are a great source of inspiration to admire animals up close and thus photograph them. I liked this close-up of the eye, especially the green which is a bit watery. But also the texture of the skin gives something of a prehistoric look. Crocodiles are good to photograph because they can lie very still, which is convenient for us.
