In Normandy lies a famous monastery, The Mont Saint Michel. Beautiful as it is and with an eventful history. But its location makes it certainly as special as the monastery itself. As an island, it is well protected, but is now increasingly accessible on foot because the water is so low at low tide and a lot of sand has washed up over the years. From the monastery, this is what you can see.
