About the artwork

The freely invented motif with the central bridge can, as is the case with many of these pictures, be left to its aesthetic effect alone, without further interpretation, and the meaning of the picture can be seen to be fulfilled in it.

If, however, someone is not fulfilled by it, one can begin to philosophise about the interdependence of all being and use this painting as an occasion to do so.

Every being needs a connection in the sense of a bridge to other being. Mere existence is not fulfilled or completed in itself. In order to 'be' and remain in being, it requires an exchange with attainable other substances.

Thus the being in question may not merely dwell in itself, but go out of itself with the essential urge to enter into interactions with the thing-world in order to enter into the process of a development. In this sense, the bridge in the picture can stand as a metaphor for such a mutual (!) exchange.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
