You come across them in almost every (production or landscaped) forest, tight avenues with tall straight trees on either side. Superb as a vista where you can see all the way to the end.
But if you see this road as a path of life, you can also see this as the beaten path. Every twist and turn has been taken out for you, you just have to walk forward.
Of course you will encounter some mud halfway, but you can easily step past that. The shadows of the tall trees represent the hard times, and the bright spots the happy moments. The tall trees also catch the wind for you, protecting you like protective hands.
Because you only have to look ahead, you don't see what is happening on either side, you get a kind of tunnel vision where you are sucked towards the end of the tunnel.
I magnified the effect of the tall trees by choosing a 1:2 height ratio. Because the whole path is pre-determined, and therefore already predictable, I used a slightly heavier contrast with a hard outline.
