In this sensually charged work, two women meet in a moment of quiet intensity - a touch just before a kiss, frozen in timeless silence. Their eyes are closed, their faces so close that the space between them vibrates with tense intimacy. Visible up to the shoulders, they merge in a composition of closeness, form and flowing movement.

The figure on the left appears to be modelled from white marble - noble, still, almost untouched. Her upper body is surrounded by deep black marble, criss-crossed by luminous liquid gold veins that flow over her head, neck and shoulders like living energy channels. The woman on the right, on the other hand, is almost completely covered in flowing red-black marble - a powerful, glowing counterweight to the quiet elegance of the woman on the left. Dense golden streams also run through her body, which condense into a common form in the centre of the picture, in the space between the two.
