This impressive work invites us into a world of quiet intensity - a moment of tender closeness, simultaneously filled with deep emotion and refined formal language. At the centre is the head of a graceful woman who appears to be turned to the left with her eyes closed - as if she is listening to an inner voice or lingering in a state of meditative contemplation.

Her face is made of white marble - smooth, calm, almost enraptured. It seems to symbolise inner clarity and calm.
