About the artwork

Sometimes you come to places where you think, yes this is a cool place. Only a clear blue sky or an overcast grey sky then you think hmmm this doesn't really make it pretty. And then you come back again and see this sky and it's YES this is it. The sun setting beautifully it the what for me is surely one of the most beautiful areas of the Netherlands. The Weerribben-Wieden.

This work depicts a beautifully warm atmosphere that this area is also known for. Many tourists know how to find this area every year.

For me, this area is a wonderful outlet for walking, boating and if there is ice in the winter then putting the ice skates on. There is so much to see of unique aquatic plants and animals that it is truly a privilege to have such a beautiful backyard.

And that is what makes this photo so beautiful to have it hanging on the wall.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
