On a beautiful spring day I cycled through Rotterdam and of course I passed all the hot spots!
During a break I saw this cool building and with the sun low in the sky it made for a great photo. I took this photo with my Nikon ZFC camera and I really like the idea of looking through the window to give a photo another dimension.
The Calex building is also called the White House of Rotterdam and was the first skyscraper in Rotterdam. It even survived a major bombing during the Second World War.
This photo was taken through the fence of an authentic bridge and this building is located on the Geldersekade in Rotterdam.
The building is in the top 100 of the Rijksdienst voor Monumentenzorg of the Netherlands.
