When I walk through picturesque Middle Delfland, I feel the breath of nature penetrating deep inside me. With my camera in hand, I search for the hidden stories the landscape has to tell. Birds hide in the reeds or high in the trees, their songs like whispers in the wind. It takes patience and attention to capture these magical moments - peering into the trees, searching through the reeds, waiting for that one sign of life.
The Vockestaert, a beautiful nature reserve between Delft and Schiedam, has a special meaning for me. This is where I spotted my first Goldfinch and Bluethroat, but the Bearded Tit remains my most cherished discovery. These unique encounters are the inspiration for my artworks.
The resulting artwork is a special fusion of photography and digital art. In MidJourney, I created an abstract, painterly background in warm, soft tones. The watercolour-like textures and harmonious colour transitions give the work a dreamy, almost magical atmosphere that invites you to dream.
This artwork is more than just a visual representation of nature. It brings a sense of calm, serenity and experience into your home. As an eye-catcher in your interior, this artwork fits perfectly in various interior styles, from minimalist Scandinavian to warm rural. The natural elements and soothing colours bring a touch of the outdoors inside, making it an ideal wall decoration for any room. It not only creates atmosphere, but also connects the beauty of nature to your everyday life.
