The Sleipnir is a crane vessel from Heerema Marine Contractors built in 2019. Its name is derived from the eight-legged horse Sleipnir from Nordic mythology.
The Sleipnir has two giant lifting cranes from Huisman Equipment, each with a lifting capacity of 10,000 tonnes and a total capacity of 18,000 tonnes, making it the largest crane ship in the world.
