About ‘The Sea of Flames’ by Melvin_Tukart

The Sea of Flames After a very tense moment in the house where the fire brigade had to be involved, the inspiration to create this work arose. The colours of the flames against the git black background exude calm and warmth but can also be treacherous. This work was created on canvas as an acrylic pouring work where I used acrylic paint thinned with a pouring medium. By using a thin base, the paint flows together beautifully. By using various blowing techniques, I let the paint fan out subtly like flames caught in the wind. It really is a work that draws your eye to it like a crackling fireplace. A real eye-catcher!

Hanging the work playfully horizontally or vertically adds a whole new dimension to the work and you can always place it decoratively in almost any interior. Hopefully the inner fire will start burning for you too after seeing this work! I would say. grab a sheepskin, open a bottle of wine or maybe have some marshmallows with it.... enjoy, Melvin,

Hi! I'm Melvin 32 years old and proud dad of two beautiful children aged 3 and 1. As a father of two young children, you are nonstop busy and besides a busy full-time job, I often don't make enough time to get creative. Until some time ago I came across some videos of different Acrylic Pouring techniques... I was sold! Since then, I like to spend my free evening hours making these paintings. It's great to completely unwind and create something beautiful in…
