About "The Sandman"

About the artwork

After seeing 1 part of the series The Sandman on Netflix I absolutely loved it. It is made after a comic book. The story and the way it was filmed was really nicely done.
I thought " this is what I need to make into a digital work".

So right away I started looking at how I could best do justice to the series. I looked at pictures of the comic book for extra inspiration.
The Sandman is known in the Netherlands as Klaas often.
Who sprinkles sand in your eyes so you go to sleep.
The dark figure is an image of The Sandman also called Morpheus or Dream of the Endless.
When you look at the work from further away he appears dark as night and when you get closer you see what he is doing, take a look :)

In the background the dark night, in the foreground Morpheus floating on a cloud with in his hand the sand he uses to sprinkle in your eyes.
Behind him a star lights up the outline of his black robe which contrasts beautifully with the dark sky, to create those real Night vibes.

Great for the bedroom to dream away :)

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
