The Rietveld Mill is located in the polder of the same name between Alphen aan den Rijn and Hazerswoude-Dorp. The mill was built in 1648 of the ground-sailer type and belongs as a national monument to the Rijnlandse Molenstichting (Rhineland Windmill Foundation). During this morning, a thin layer of fog lay over the water. The sunrise coloured beautifully and the backlight made the mill stand out beautifully as a silhouette, reflecting in the ditch.
