About "The Peitlerkofel"

About the artwork

The last remnants of snow at the Peitlerkofel (Italian: Sass de Putia), a mountain in the Dolomites in South Tyrol, Italy. A solitary mountain, it stands between Val Badia to the east and the Villnöß valley to the west, in the far north of the Dolomites, accessible via the Passo delle Erbe (Würzjoch). It boasts two distinct peaks, the Grosser Peitler (2875m) and the Kleiner Peitler (2813m), which are separated by a deep ridge. Sass de Putia is in a quiet and isolated location on the edge of the Puez-Odle Nature Park.
Its steep and rugged peak rises directly from the ancient forests and vast meadows around it. It is considered the north-western cornerstone of the entire Dolomite region.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
