The Odle Group or Geisler Group is located in northern Italy, in the region of South Tyrol (Alto Adige) and forms the impressive backdrop of the Val di Funes (Villnösser Tal). This valley is famous for its picturesque views of these mountains. The Geisler Group is known for its sharp, pointed and jagged rock formation. The peaks are mainly formed from dolomite rock, which gives them their distinctive pale, rocky appearance. The Geisler Group is part of the Puez-ODle Nature Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This park protects the area's unique geology, flora and fauna. The Geysler Group is one of the most photographed landscapes in the Dolomites, especially when combined with picturesque churches of Santa Maddalena and St Johann in Ranui in the foreground. The contrast between the rugged, grey cliffs and the green alpine meadows and dark forests at their foot is striking and adds to the beauty of the landscape. The Geisler Group one of the most iconic and photogenic mountain ranges in Italy's beautiful Dolomites.
