Around 1650, the Nieuwe Kerk on the Spui in The Hague was built after the Sint-Jacobskerk with its famous Hague Tower became too small. Like many Churches today, its function as a Protestant church has changed and it is now often used for concerts and fairs. For this print, I created an etching style along digital processing that gives the impression of a pen drawing. A fun fact is that in the building right on the Gedempte gracht, I bought my first flat where I lived for about 6 years.
