In this variation, Javier Ferrando infuses Vermeer’s The Milkmaid with a striking chromatic unity. The scene, rooted in Vermeer’s compositional grace, is transformed through the repetition of a single, luminous hue: blue. The flowing designer skirt and scarf share their color with the crystalline bottle in the figure’s hand, creating a visual thread that binds the composition together.
