Although this Lily is still closed, it immediately reminds me of spring. Together with all kinds of other flowers like the snowdrop, the blue grape and the crocus, it announces the end of winter and awakens the earth to get ready for the next season.
The fresh, yellow colour immediately gives the dark, not yet "awake" garden a different look. Just a little longer and the Lily will be joined by other flowers and plants to create another splash of colour together. In Lightroom, I detached the flower by applying masks and made the background dark in a reverse selection. I left the colour untouched. The sharpness was improved by using Topaz Sharpen. The drops hanging from both flowers add a fresh detail. With the Helleborus and Primula, I merged the Lily into a triptych, which can also be found in my shop with work code 1138683.
