About the artwork

While I was daydreaming on the French Riviera about designing a new cartoon character I was suddenly awakened by a funny artistic looking man. He just gave me a piece of paper and a pencil and wanted me to portray him. It looked like the pencil was going to draw on its own. When I wanted to ask the little artistic man what a special pencil he had given me, he had disappeared into thin air.... The sound of the waves and a warm breeze woke me up. What a shame, it was a dream. As I stared at the beautiful blue sea and let the soft sand slide through my fingers I suddenly felt a piece of wood. It was the pencil I got from that funny little man... Once at home I immediately went into my studio to draw the male with the magic pencil, and voilà... Let me introduce you... Victor! An artist with magical surprises!

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
