The Holy Spirit over land, sea and air - Horizontal

by Linsy Steijvers

This sculpture exudes a sense of freedom and deep peace, carried by the calmness of sea and sky. The soft blue tones of sky and water meet the earthy layers of stone and together form a hushed landscape in which there is room to become still. In this openness, the splendour of God's creation unfolds - grand, careful and balanced.

The colours bring life to the image, recalling a life without haste, presence without words. It is a moment where everything comes together: breath, light, silence and space. Not overwhelming, but carrying. An image that does not demand attention, but invites surrender and rest; like a gentle movement of the Holy Spirit across sea and land.

My work arises from moments of stillness in nature. I capture places where space, light and landscape come together and invite you to pause for a moment.

There are both landscape and portrait versions of some views. Feel free to contact me on Instagram @linsy.st if you would like to inquire about this or have any questions about the work.
