About ‘The Freedom of Migration: Geese in the Evening Light’ by Eric Hammer

In these works, we capture a fleeting but powerful moment: a group of geese flying through the sky in perfect harmony. What makes these images so special is the contrast between the serene tranquillity of nature and the enormous physical effort of the journey. Notice how the warm raking light hits the underside of the wings, accentuating the texture of the feathers and giving the birds an almost golden glow against the soft, layered clouds. This work was born out of a fascination with instinct and perseverance. It reminds us that, despite the chaos in our daily world, there are still ancient rhythms that continue unabated. The images evoke a sense of melancholy and, at the same time, enormous freedom. These works bring a feeling of space and movement into a room. They fit perfectly into an interior where natural materials and tranquillity are central. This work acts as a 'window to the outside world' that invites you to pause for a moment and take a deep breath. An ideal piece for above the sofa or in a workspace where you occasionally want to dream away at the vast horizon.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
