About "The Ecstasy"

About the artwork

What makes this image stand out is how still everything feels—except her. She’s frozen in a posture that suggests something just happened, or maybe she’s waiting for it to. The way the light hits her face and hands almost feels theatrical, as if someone above just pulled back the curtain for one brief, private moment. Her upward gaze adds to that tension, like she’s caught in a conversation no one else can hear.

The setting is grand but not overwhelming. Marble columns rise behind her, and the confessional door marked Penitente looms nearby, a quiet reminder of ritual and judgment. The textures in her dress contrast softly with the dark wood and cold stone, giving the whole scene an unexpected intimacy.

I remember taking this photo and feeling unsure whether to press the shutter. There was something so unguarded about her expression that I hesitated. But the light was perfect—and sometimes you don’t get a second chance. I still wonder what she was thinking

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
