About ‘The Chaumont viaduct in France (1857)’ by Jan van den Broek 2BHAPPY4EVER
Chaumont lies at the confluence of the Marne and the Guise. The town has had a station on the Paris-Montpellier/Marseille railway line since 1855; to this end an imposing stone railway viaduct was built, which is now the town's most striking building. The viaduct is one of the largest of its kind in Europe.
