The Breguet Br.1050 Alizé The Breguet Alizé is a French anti-submarine warfare aircraft and dates back to the Cold War. It was developed by Breguet in the 1950s. The design was based on an earlier fighter design that ultimately did not go into production. As with many French aircraft, the Alizé was named after the type of wind, in this case the trade wind. The Alizé was deployed from aircraft carriers. This aircraft is privately owned and is the only one still flying. This photo was taken during its landing at Base Aérienne 701 Salon-de-Provence on Friday 19 May 2023. On this Friday, the aircraft made its penultimate flight.
