Het Beekhuizerzand is a shifting sand area near Harderwijk The area was reduced from a forest area to a real shifting sand area in 2004. It is both a military training area and a recreation area.
Together with Hulshorsterzand, also between Nunspeet and Harderwijk, it forms one of the few large connected drifting sand areas in the Netherlands.
