This is a shot of icebergs in the Jokullsarlon in Iceland . It was a foggy morning and the reflection was perfect . Actually , this is a photograph that is close to my heart . There is an untold beauty in the ice structures . The blue color represents the age of the ice .Because of the immense pressure of the glacier , the structure of the ice becomes different and you get discoloration . but there is a also a downside . Because of global warming the glacier is melting faster and faster . The Vatnajokull is the second largest glacier on earth after Greenland and it is melting rapidly. These beautiful ice formations are in danger of disappearing .
