n the vicinity of Granada stands the world-famous Alhambra structure. This ancient fortress is one of the most famous buildings in the world. Today, you can still find buildings in this location that originated in the thirteenth century. Due to its long history of different cultures and influences, the Red Palace, as the Alhambra is also called, is a unique structure with traces of a long period of European history. The site has served primarily as a fortress and palace. You will find traces from the Islamic world and the Christian. Sometimes styles from both worlds in one object. Therefore, it should come as no surprise that the Alhambra deserves a listing in Unesco's cultural heritage list.
