Take-off of a Norwegian F-16 Fighting Falcon. Registration: 675. The Royal Norwegian Air Force (Luftforsvaret) was established in 1944. Like the Netherlands, Norway also purchased the F-16 in the late 1970s. All Norwegian F-16s were built under licence by Dutch company Fokker, and by 2022 all Norwegian F-16s had been withdrawn from service. Like the Netherlands, the Norwegians also chose the F-35 to replace the F-16. This picture was taken on 14 September 2019 at Kleine Brogel airbase.
