About the artwork

In the gentle semi-darkness of Wat Sitthawararam, the moment of enlightenment rises like a silent breath of eternity. Various figures of the Awakened One sit together here as if they are having a quiet conversation, one without words, carried only by light, silence and the clarity of the mind.
The golden Buddha in the foreground, radiant in front of the red and gold mandala, looks like the source of an inner sunrise. His posture - the bhumispara mudra, the gesture in which he makes the earth his witness - is reminiscent of the moment when doubt faded and truth arose.
Behind them, figures rest in meditative serenity, reflections of wisdom, compassion and unwavering presence. Each statue an answer to the same question: How does man find peace? And yet each with its own stillness, its own note of tenderness or strength.
Between all the splendour are flowers, simple, ephemeral beauties. Their blossoms almost bow down, as if they understand that true enlightenment lies not in the supernatural, but in the mindful moment.
The temple thus becomes a place where time stands still - a space where the soul can sit, without haste, without noise, and simply breathe.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
