The national bird is the swan for a reason. Such a beautiful country can only be represented with such a beautiful bird. Along the southeast coast of Iceland you can find the endless black volcanic sand beaches. Something typically Icelandic. A lucky thing that so late in the season I met several wild swans that flew by. A picture that in my opinion can't be more Icelandic than this one.
