About "Surfing - The fingerprint of leaves"

About the artwork

Using different leaves, I created this composition, with my own association being that the tulip leaves are surfing the green leaves in shades of pink.

This art photo is part of a series 'The fingerprint of leaves' which was created from years of experimenting with photographing (flower) leaves. Fascinated by the details created by nature, I try to capture them as beautifully and authentically as possible. Each leaf is unique and, like humans, appears to have a kind of own fingerprint. This is clearly visible through magnification. Small details like folds in the leaves create a kind of layering that gives a nice effect through this way of photographing.
Especially when printed in large format, you can be amazed by the beautiful details of the petals.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
