About ‘Sunset’ by Ilona Lagerweij

Egmond aan zee as the sun begins to set. Between the dune grass you can see beautiful colours reflecting off the clouds. A moment that left me completely still to enjoy with all my might. Then, when everything is right, the rest of the world around me falls away for a moment. Just me and the sea and the sun, oh and the camera of course.

Egmond aan zee is a beautiful seaside resort in North Holland and has the ideal combination of beach, shops and restaurants. Its wide beach means it's never too crowded and besides that, you can also go for great walks in the surrounding dune areas. There, you can even encounter cows and horses roaming freely.

After a day of walking and enjoyment, there is nothing better than settling down in one of the good restaurants or lunchrooms. But you can also go for an ice cream on the hand in the village.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
