Photo of the setting sun in the Barossa Valley, Australia's most famous wine region. The Barossa Valley is about an hour's drive northeast of the city of Adelaide in the state of South Australia. The road in the picture is the Seppeltsfield Road, a famous road that crosses the Barossa Valley. Along this road are numerous vineyards, the first of which were founded by the German Seppelt family, who came to this region as immigrant families in the 19th century.
The picture was taken in the heart of the valley, right next to the Seppeltsfield Mausoleum. In this mausoleum, all deceased family members of the Seppelt family are buried, and to this day, descendants are interred in this family tomb after their death. The trees in the photo have been planted over the decades by the Seppelts family and other vineyard owners to make the appearance of the Seppeltsfield Road as beautiful as possible. This has succeeded!
