Photographed the sunset in the mudflats near the Westhoek in Friesland on a beautiful evening in May. The weather is nice and calm and the mudflats have dried up because the tide has gone out. You can now see the beautiful structures and shapes in the silt. Breakwaters are also visible. Because of its globally unique geological and ecological values, the Wadden Sea is on UNESCO's World Heritage List.
