About ‘Sunset at palm village Petten’ by Goffe Jensma

I took this photo during our holiday in northern Holland. What a beautiful sunset by the sea and beach in Petten. There are beautiful shades in the sky. The tide is already getting pretty high, the poles on the beach are already in the water.

In Petten stands the monument Het Palendorp.
Petten's Palendorp is a work of art and monument consisting of a large number of poles on the border of the land and the sea. It is a reminder of the flood that hit Petten several hundred years ago and swept away almost the entire village.

Hello, my name is Goffe.

I am married to Ida and together we have 2 sons. I live in the beautiful province of Friesland. My hobbies are football, fishing and of course photography. I photograph, among others, for CMV Oranje and the football club in Minnertsga. For the photos I use a Sony A7ii / Tamron 28-75 2.8 lens and a Canon 90D with a Canon 70-200 2.8 ii and a Canon 100-400 4.5 / 5.6 ii lens.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
