About ‘Sunset at Zaanse Schans’ by Patrick Rodink

A photo taken with a filter – a neutral density filter, to be precise. A filter that allows for longer shutter speeds, making the water look silky smooth and turning the clouds into white streaks.
This photo was taken at sunset and, thanks to the long exposure, there’s a funny element to it – have you spotted it yet?

There was one windmill whose sails were turning during the long exposure, making it look as though the sails are spinning wildly and the net on the windmill is about to take flight.
By the way, did you spot the windmill without sails?
