This is a landscape photo of a monolith in the White Desert National Park in Egypt. This desert is a remnant of a sea. monoliths stick out of the soil formed by the sand from sandstorms that have an abrasive effect.The soil is of white limestone that is more or less covered with sand.The desert is located in the western part of Egypt bordering Libya.
