The sun is slowly sinking towards the horizon, casting long shadows across the glistening waters of Loch Laich. Castle Stalker, stately and unruffled on its small island, catches the last warm light of the day.
The stone walls light up in gold and copper, while the sky fills with soft hues of orange, pink and violet. The sky is clear and open, without haze or fog, making the silhouette of the castle stand out sharply against the play of colours above.
The surrounding water is calm, like a mirror reflecting the colours of the sky and the contours of the castle. Everything breathes tranquillity, as if even time stands still for a moment.
