In the vast emptiness of the Sinai desert, two tracks slowly disappear into the distance. The sun has just set or not yet risen, casting a subtle glow over the landscape. The gradient of colour in the sky, from deep violet to warm orange, reflects the transition between night and day, between stillness and movement.
The tracks in the sand are the only sign of human presence in an otherwise pristine landscape of stone, grit and distant silhouettes. They lead the eye to the horizon, where gentle lines of mountains form a quiet boundary between earth and sky.
This image is about direction and silence, about the beauty of simplicity and the power of a desolate place. It raises questions while inviting stillness. A landscape without distractions, pure and open, as only the desert can be.
