On an early autumn evening at the famous windmills of Kinderdijk. The looming clouds 'sailed' over the Unesco World Heritage landscape. This produced beautiful scenes, with soft (blue) hues. After long, hot summer, it is momentarily lovely to feel the cooler wind blowing through your hair.
Never visited these windmills before? This is a definite must-see and a good reason to come to South Holland. Walking along the dykes, between the Hoge and Lage Boezem rivers is highly recommended. It almost doesn't get any more Dutch than this. Continuously enjoy this landscape? Then hang this photo on your wall.
