About ‘Sunset Eemmeer near Spakenburg’ by Watze D. de Haan

The Eemmeer near Spakenburg is and remains a photogenic place with beautiful views. Every sunset is different here and it always amazes me. This place is often visited in the evening where the spectators relax on a bench. Along this Eemmeer runs a beautiful bike path from Spakenburg towards Eembrugge and then you can continue towards Amersfoort and Baarn. The boats in the photo belong to 2 scouting clubs and they can make beautiful sailing trips from here towards the Randmeer.
The photo was taken with a circular polarizing filter and that enhances this color palette. This combination of boats, lake poles, water, sky, color and in the background the windmills continue to fascinate me.
