Sunrise over the Lechquellen mountains. Photo taken on an early morning in August just above the town of Zug in the Austrian Alps.
I had spent the night in this spot to photograph the sunrise from this spot, hopefully with fog in the valley.
It was cold and when I woke up the next morning and crawled out of my sleeping bag the ice was thick on my tent canvas! And that was in August!
First made a hot coffee and then waited.
The rising sun was a thrill and brought a beautiful light and the mist was thick in the valley.
I will not and do not get used to the happy and exciting sensation of a rising sun.
The source of all life on earth continues to fascinate me.
