Abstract nude in black and white - composition of nude in a seascape with rocks and a dramatic sky.
Photo was taken in the Algarve in April 2022.

The intention of this work is to work with contrasts. The soft shapes of the nude contrast with the rocks.
Everything in this picture is about contrasts between black, gray and light tones, between different textures round, smooth and rough.
In the sky, the clouds expire, in such a way that they enhance the composition. The nude stands in the middle between all the composition-defining elements.
The image exudes a calm atmosphere. It is static, the dynamics are caused by the clouds effectuating the rocks.
The image is originally in color, the black and white filtering was achieved in Photoshop by removing the blue tones, correcting to perfectly render the skin tones.
The intent was to create an image that is long-lasting and requires you to look again and again.
