On a road trip across America, Joshua Tree National Park has numerous catus but instead of photographing the sea of cacti, I went "up close and personal" and photographed the amazing structure of these large cacti.
Given the record-breaking temperatures that summer, this photo also had to radiate that heat and the burning sun behind the cactus was included in the image.
A great reminder of the intense heat and amazing nature during this trip.
