This photo was taken one morning in the Vlinderhof in Maximapark in Leidscherijn. By using a smaller depth of field, the water droplets in the background are rendered as round spheres. The contrast due to the backlight is just big enough to still see details in the flowers in the shadows.

I am Martijn Wit and I like to photograph nature in my neighbourhood, but I also love to capture the city and the night. I love the play of light in combination with the vintage lenses I use.
