Impressionist with a modern twist: that was the brief for this still life I painted a few years ago. It was a warm summer, which translated into the orange and yellow tones for the background. And the cherries complemented the summery setting. This work works well on a white wall, or for an extra pop, on a blue background. The original work was painted in oil on canvas following the method "painting alla prima" (wet-on-wet). For Work on the Wall, I edited it digitally.
