About the artwork

A white butterfly hovers briefly above the blooming catnip and then gently lowers itself among the purple flowers. This image combines simplicity and sophistication: the butterfly's delicate wings catch the sunlight and contrast beautifully with the rich hues of the catmint. If you look closely, you can see how the little flowers catch the light, each with its own texture and shape.

This photo was taken during a summer walk, at a moment when everything seemed to stand still for a moment. The butterfly was not flying in a hurry, but moved by the warmth and scent of the catmint - and I was guided by the same feeling when taking this shot.

The mood is dreamy, light and soft. For me, the butterfly symbolises vulnerability and freedom, while the catnip adds strength and colour to the image. The work invites peace and wonder. You don't have to travel far to find beauty; sometimes it just lies on the verge of a dirt road.

In an interior, this work brings a sense of calm and summer. It fits well in spaces with natural tones, or just as a colour accent in a minimalist interior. A moment of silence on the wall - soft and full of life.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
