The wild bees and bumblebees love poppies, And we know how to use them too. We extract poppy seeds from them which we use in abundance on our sandwiches and also opium, morphine and heroin are extracted from a poppy variety. Poppies can be used to make painkillers. The poppy became a symbol of war. And many poems were written about it. Like the poem' In Flanders Fields'.
And besides the beautiful symbol, they are also just very beautiful plants.
