In the north of the province of Groningen, close to the Wadden coast, are huge expanses of agricultural land. If you like peace and space, you will love it there. Because there is almost always a (strong) wind, there are many large windmills. Near Eemshaven is a park with a large number of these giants. The 2 windmills in this photo are the last of a long row. I took this photo at the end of a beautiful summer day, just before the sun disappeared behind the horizon. As a result, beautiful warm backlight shone across the wheat fields and the beautiful cloudy sky was also very nicely highlighted. The use of an extreme wide-angle lens makes the mills appear to tip over.
