Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.

About ‘Summer afternoon in Kralingse Bos ’ by Ton van Buuren

The work "Late summer in the Kralingse Bos" which also can be found on this page has a lot of atmosphere. Yet I made a second version which is much softer in colour, so I can imagine that someone would like to use it as a wallpaper. The view on a sunny forest would make a stressed office worker totally relaxed.

I came this close to not being involved in photography. My first camera was a Kodak Instamatic, with the biggest parallax error you could wish for! So I always had pictures of people without heads. I used these cassettes with 12 or 24 photos, black and white (that was cheaper than colour!). I was advised to be economical with this material. I only took a picture if I was sure it was worth it. Later, when I had a reflex camera, I used slides (cheaper indeed!). They have to…
